Many drug companies offer anxiety medication as a quick fix to solve this problem. The main issue with that is that most times its a band aid and only leads to addiction and continual problems with anxiety.
Whats the hope with anxiety, there are several effective methods that works with anxiety conditions. The main ones I would mention here are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT).
Both of these therapy involves reprogramming the mind to accept that anxiety is really an emotional taught thats locked into the sub-concious mind. However, the philosophy behind EFT is based on the whole energy Phsycology approach where specific parts of the both are tapped while the mind is being disturb by the anxiety feeling. This method is extremely effective when the root cause of the anxiety is known or found out.
CBT on the other hand focuses on gradual exposure to the anxiety situation to finally cure the condition. This method is fairly effective but can be painful at times if not properly administered.
As someone who has suffered from anxiety in the past, I can say for sure it can be fully cured in time and but the most imporrtant thing is to gain confidence in yourself. Confidence will give you the courage to confront the situation and to seek the necessary help that can put you on the right track.
Doing searches online can be very effective to learn about anxiety but sometimes if you want to nail it and be accoutable to someone, you can get help to guide you along.
